How to get there
Mendoza is reached along International Route 7, one of the most important border crossings to Santiago de Chile, or along National Route 40, which crosses the country from North to South.
By air, visitors arrive in Francisco Gabrielli Airport, 6 km away from the city. Regular flights leave from Buenos Aires (1,089 km away), where international flights can be taken at Ezeiza airport.
Bus companies offer services joining Mendoza with the rest of the country and bordering countries. Penitentes is reached through regular transportation from the capital of the province.

Snow quality: powder, dry and compact.
Weather: dry with sunny days. In winter, temperatures range from -4º to 7º C, with an optimum real feel.
Activities: Alpine, Nordic, competition and extreme ski. Freestyle, free ride and extreme snowboarding. Sled park and tubing park with lift.

- Penitentes ski resort has 28 runs distributed among 25,500 meters with lengths and slopes for beginners, advanced and experts. 11 runs have been approved by the Argentine Ski and Mountaineering Federation, whereas 5 have been approved by the International Ski Federation.

Services
Lodging, various culinary options at restaurants located at the Base and across the runs, ski rental, grocery store, Internet, gift store, disco, photo service, medical care, sled trail, tubing park with a lift, to slide over the snow.
Safety is assured by a modernly equipped patrol classified into 1) nivology and meteorology; 2) surveillance. They rescue people, give information to skiers and provide customer services. They also enforce the ski resort safety rules.

Guests of Campo Base PENITENTES Hostel will be able to enjoy the activities and events taking place in Los Penitentes ski resort this season. Various provincial, national and international contests.
Ski and snowboarding parallel, skiathlon, skimobile, boarder & skicross contests, night jumps, children contests, obstacle race.
Various activities have been planned for Children’s Day: clowns, games, races, gifts. At night, visitors can enjoy a drink with their friends, dance at the disco till dawn.
