San Martín de los Andes is located in the middle of the Andes Mountain Range, on the shoreline of Lake Lácar, 428 km away from Neuquén Capital City, approximately 1,600 km away from the city of Buenos Aires and 45 km away from the border crossing with Chile. Access is gained across fully paved routes (National Route 234) and by air, landing in Chapelco Airport.
