How to get there
By plane: Access to this ski resort is easily gained and the spell of holidays can be felt in quite a short time. From Jorge Newbery Airport up to San Rafael Airport, flights take around one hour and then the shuttle takes other 3 hours by land, to reach the Las Leñas Valley. During high season, there are special flights available arriving directly in Malargüe Airport from Jorge Newbery Airport or San Paulo. At least two daily flights, first thing in the morning and in the afternoon. 80 kilometers have to be traveled from the city of Malargüe to the valley.
By car: The spell of this kind of trips begins en route, by enjoying the landscape, since the driver decides the speed and when to stop. Traveling 1,200 km from Buenos Aires takes around 11 hours along National Route 7 to Junín, then 188 to General Alvear, 143 to San Rafael, 144 to El Sosneado and, finally, 222 to Las Leñas Valley, 20 km away from Los Molles. It is advisable to use snow chains to drive through the snow safely.
By bus: Traveling by bus is a pleasure, particularly if a fully reclining seat is purchased (coche-cama). Sleeping all night after a hard day at work and waking up in the morning in Las Leñas is an unforgettable experience.

Technical information
- Las Leñas, the ski resort, at the heart of the Andes mountain range, is located at a height of 2,240 meters and its summit is at 3,430 meters. This outstanding location, added to its conditions, offers an exceptional and long ski season from June to October.
- The Valley has 30 runs classified into beginners (green), intermediate (blue), advanced (red) and experts (black).
- It has a ski area of 17,500 hectares including runs and off-piste, 13 lifts and a lift capacity of approximately 10,000 skiers an hour.
- For daring ski lovers, this ski resorts has one of the longest combinations of runs made up by Apolo – Neptuno – Venus, of 7,050 meters.
