How to get there
26 km away from Tierra del Fuego capital city, hosting an international airport and a tourist harbor for large vessels.
- By air, regular flights arrive from the city of Buenos Aires, 3,177 km away.
- By land, Ushuaia is reached along National Route 3.

Technical information
- 26 km away from Ushuaia, this ski resort was inaugurated in the winter season of 1999 and, since then, it has grown at an annual rate of 30%.
- The southernmost ski resort in the world can be accessed along paved National Route 3, located inside the Tierra Mayor valley.
- Cerro Castor has a ski area of 600 hectares, 23 runs with various difficulty levels and off-piste. To have a broader variety of runs and for our clients to go on enjoying Cerro Castor saving waiting in our lifts, we added two more lifts. Two Reac - Montaz Mautinod teleskis 815 meters long with 240-meter slopes, totaling a lift capacity of 720 people an hour each.
- Cerro Castor is located on the southern side of the mountain and due to Ushuaia’s latitude, it has the best snow quality in the country and South America.
